Timber Framing and Enclosure Systems
Emerald Builders offers timber framing and finishing options to our clients from whole house frames to elegant structural details in our houses. We have worked with many timber framers and have a lot of experience enclosing frames with energy efficient methods yielding beautiful homes that are very easy to heat and cool. We are experienced in working in finished frames and know what it takes to enclose, run utilities, and apply the finishing details to these structures. We would love to hear about your timber frame project whether it is a whole house or a traditionally framed element.
Unfortunately, when a building has outlived its usefulness, becomes unsafe, or is simply no longer wanted; a common solution is either to burn it or bulldoze it. However, very often there is still useable material in these structures. Dimensional lumber, boarding, and fixtures can often be salvaged and used again.
