Whether you have completed plans ready for pricing or have ideas that still need to get put to paper we can help you through the process so the project can get underway.
The building process can be overwhelming, we find communication and thorough planning helps to ensure that the building process goes smoothly from design to project completion.
How do I get started without plans or a design?
We can schedule a preliminary meeting to discuss your ideas for your project. We use these first visits as an interviewing period for us and for you. From here we can schedule an on site visit and discuss what is involved in your building or remodeling process. We can assist in finding an architect or designer that will be a good match your design ideas. Being involved from the beginning of the design process help form the relationship between designer, homeowner, and builder. This helps ensure that possible problems can be remedied before the construction phase begins.
I am already working with an architect or designer, where do I go from here?
If you already have plans or are working on plans for your project, we can get involved as early as you want. If you are looking for pricing we can work with you and/or your architect to get estimating and pricing done. We like to be able to communicate with the architect as we work through the pricing process if questions arise. From here if you choose to work with us we can schedule a meeting so everyone gets to know each other and then get started.
Do I have to be working with an architect or designer?
This depends on the scope of work to be done and the level of detail involved. We find that having a professional design team can really make a difference on larger or more detailed projects. Contact us and we can discuss your project and help you move forward with it.
Can you give me a square foot price?
No, we really don’t work on a square foot price basis. Every project is different, we really need a concept or design to get started on preliminary pricing.
How long does the design process take?
There is no standard answer here. The design and planning process can take some time. We have found the more preliminary planning that gets done, the better the physical building process will go. This will help the building process run smoother and more efficient saving time and money and will help inform everyone of what to expect during the process.
